A guy started this nail polish line - and why not? Jason knows color and how to expertly join hues in a way that’s “most uncommon” from other brands. Color is an expression of one’s personality and we think a nail polish should be as distinctive as the one who wears it.
Our goal is as always, to continue developing colors that lead, not follow! Polish made safer for our kids, friends, and family.
SHINE Polishes are 10 Free and Non-Toxic
The chemicals Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Triphenyl Phosphate (TPHP) and Xylene are NOT CONTAINED in SHINE polishes.
When it comes to our suppliers, we do our homework. We only buy ingredients from companies that offer FDA approved solvent-resistant cosmetic glitters, micas, pigments and other colourants and that are Cruelty Free.
We're proud that SHINE Nail Polish is a Vegan friendly product.
We've try our hardest to portray the color of each polish as close to perfect as humanly possible. Of course, depending on your computer's monitor, polish colors may come across a little different than the actual color in person, but we've never had a problem.
If you have any questions, special request or just want to talk shop, send us a message, we’d love to talk to you.
How on Earth did I get started in the Indie Polish business?
Well, my partner and I have owned 2 salons for the last 12 years and in that time I have developed several product lines for our salon, including our skincare line Urban Apothecary.
We've had SHINE on our shelves in the Salon for about a year now and the response has been amazing. We live in the middle of the country and there's just nowhere to go (physical location) if you want a Unique and Different Nail Polish, so we are providing that to our clients and now YOU.
On a personal note:
So, I have to admit I’m little obsessed with making our polishes. I spend an obscene amount of time mixing, researching, keeping up with new products and processes; which gets me in trouble at home. It’s funny. I still get excited every time a bottle sells, like it was our first customer. There is a certain inherent satisfaction with the process of creating something beautiful for another person. This is what makes the hard work and long hours of doing all of this by hard, one bottle at a time totally worth every minute!
